I want to match my cream khakis pants with an appropriate shirt for a conference. You can think of it as a formal business meeting. This is important for me, and so somewhat detailed. Thanks for your patience!

Rate the following on a scale of 1-10 : maroon, powder blue, oxford blue, tan/light brown.

The khaki colored pants must GO along with any short sleeved shirt. Khaki and short sleeves are never formal in a business meeting...they give the appearance of a casual business meeting. Business slacks are a must. Black gives a much more professional appearance and speaks of a bolder, more professional character. The maroon shirt is more in style and is a fall color. Light blue shirts are just...ok the ones you chose are informal. You need to wear jacket, a tie, a nice belt that matches your shoes to be formal. If most people will be wearing what you have chosen then it is considered business casual and not formal and most anything goes. Good luck!

Khakis - 5 (no cargo pockets- docker style are better)
Maroon - 10
Pwdr Blue - 5
Oxf Blue - 5
Black slacks - 10

None of that could desire to conflict heavily, butr i could pass the dark brown khakis. If the denims are mild, notably, i could positioned on those. Surf some hollow or J. team classified ads to make certain what is going- you will locate extra is okay than you think of it is.

If the meeting is business casual, either blue seems the choice, but please don't wear khakis that have cargo pockets on them, tuck in your shirt, press your shirt, and wear decent shoes.

How did you get cream on your khakis? Were you eating a bavarian creme filled doughnut?
