He's quite easily the worst president in the history of our great country, now that the Military Commisions act has been signed he is essentially granted power that is greater then hitler in terms of Secrecy and silencing his own critics. This is an incredibly scary event, It almost nullifes the entire idea of Freedom in America. My Candian Passport is ready and I Have applied for a Work Visa. I hope you all do the same before this man delcares him self supreme ruler and overlord. I'm sure the smug Right wing ********* will wish me good luck on my new Candadian life, I am gonna miss you guys and your 2 syllable words. Take care :)

I'm not anti-american, No one ever said Being an american is having no rights and being at the mercy of an idiot who claims god told him to kill civillians in a bid to takeover a country for oil access
Aboot is a cool word!
I'm not delusional, Just a sheep who finally opened his eyes.
I don't understand why people defend this man. I can see if you just hate Democrats in general. Thats more in line with Right wing thinking. But defending Bush?? Gimme a break, I'd rather defend a child rapist, at least they kill one child instead of attempting to wipe out an entire existance and way of life.

You are right about the F word. I get frustrated because I'm not allowed to walk up to teh other people in teh thread and punch them in the face and scream "PAY ATTENTION, OPEN YOUR EYE"S YOU SHEEP!" but I'm now allowed to do that so I curse online instead....

I will always regard Bush and his Neocons the worst thing America has ever endured. They don't deserve any praises. Ronald Reagan's 30 year Neocon plan has failed in America miserably.

I wish you the best of luck and if I could afford it, I would be right behind you. Obviously, most of those people who answered this question really don't realize how much Bush has trampled on the Constitution. They are wrong to believe that these new laws will only be used against "non-Americans."
Freedom of speech is no longer a guarantee. Just ask those who were critical of Bush after 9/11 and were brought in for interrogation. These people were citizens exercising their freedom, only to be harassed and threatened by government officials. America is becoming a fascist police state in the name of protecting its citizens. It won't be long before we are all embedded with identification markers to prove our citizenship.
It is a sad day when people applaud losing their rights. It is a sad day when people want to leave this country because they fear their government. This is not what our founding fathers had in mind when they wrote the bill of rights. I hope I am wrong and this too will pass, but the more I see answers condemning those who speak their mind, the more I lose faith that this nation is a democracy based on intelligence rather than blind allegiance.

I do not talk bad about Mr. Bush now and have no plans to start. There are legitimate debates we can have in this country and I have no problem with dissension. However, you cannot even begin a debate when one side refuses to acknowledge actual facts, but rather would prefer to invent fantasies to fit their agenda. The agenda is that liberals do not like Mr. Bush. The fantasy in this case is that the Military Commissions Act somehow effects citizens. This law effects only unlawful enemy combatants. It makes it possible for stateless detainees to be tried. If you want to argue that they should be tried in a civilian court then you have an argument, but to falsely assert that it applies to citizens of the United States is baseless and therefore not an arguable point. Good luck in Canada.

Bush replaced into an regularly used president. the 1st six years of his presidency had an surprising economic device till the housing industry crashed inflicting the economic device to pass under. the reason of the housing industry crash is complicated and the majority have not got a clue what brought about it so as that they blame the president. The media did an surprising smear marketing campaign throughout Bush's final 2 years. The Democrats made stable use of the undesirable press and the everyday public needed somebody responsible.

Yes, I'm positive that in the next year of Bush's presidency he'll declare himself supreme dictator of the US, dissolve Congress and the Senate, outlaw each state's supremacy in lawmaking, and pigs will suddenly learn to fly.
You are truly delusional and paranoid. Good luck in Canada. They can have you!

You could have made your point if you wouldn't have used the F word. Using that loses all credibility. Why do you think Canada wants you? They have an army too. Did you ever hear of voting to get a better government? I'm as frustrated as you, and I'm a republican and a military family. I never thought our country would come to this.

I've promised myself that if the day comes when we round up muslims into camps, that'll be the day when I plan to leave these shores and move to another country... preferably someplace far away, like New Zealand.
First they will come for the muslims. As an antiwar, libertarian-minded atheist, I know I'd be next in line.

I agree Bush will go down in history as the biggest idioti we have ever had as a president! Also I see some the ignorant name callers say the majority is against you and yet even on this page it proves differently as well as on the news and surveys around the US. Bush will be out and democrats will rule thanks to Bush!

Will you learn the King's English when you immigrate to Canada or perhaps you will learn French? I believe they require correct grammar in their country also. I wonder if you will feel sad and silly when your predictions for the nullification of freedom and the dictatorship of Pres. Bush are found to be without merit. Your lack of vocabulary and intelligence are profoundly apparent in your choice of name calling. In other words and using a two syllable word you might be able to comprehend, "Good luck, stupid."
