Since switching to the seven-game championship series in 1985, there have been 25 occasions on which a team was leading 3-2.

On fourteen of those occasions, the team leading 3-2 won Game 6 to end the series (1985 Cards, 1986 Mets, 1990 Reds, 1992-93 Blue Jays, 1993 Phillies, 1995 Indians, 1997 Indians, 1997 Marlins, 1998 Yankees, 1998 Padres, 1999 Braves, 2000 Yankees, 2005 Astros).

Three times, the team leading 3-2 lost Game 6, but won the series in seven games (1988 Dodgers, 1992 Braves, 2003 Yankees).

On eight occasions, the team leading 3-2 has lost games six and seven, and therefore the series (1985 Blue Jays, 1986 Angels, 1987 Giants, 1991 Pirates, 1996 Cardinals, 2003 Cubs, 2004 Yankees, 2004 Astros).

So 17 of 25 teams leading a series (or 68%) have gone on to win their series.

I think its 35 of the 51 teams who won game 5 have went on to win the series. Which is a 68.6%...but the Cardinals know all about winning 2 straight games to win the series after being down 3-2, they did it against the Astros in 04.
