I do. He is without a doubt the best wrestler on the Smackdown brand and to watch these less talented wrestlers fight for the title is painful. There is no doubt in my mind that he is the best submission wrestler in this business and the fact that he has only one world title reighn (in the books) is absolute crap!

I absolutely agree with you. But there is a reason why he doesn't main event. He is phenominal in the ring, and is actually not bad on the mic either. But two things keep him out of the main event.
1. Unfortunately he just can't seem to draw a crowd. This is the same reason why Lashley is not being pushed right away because the WWE believes that his ability to draw ratings is not good enough yet. I am a huge Benoit fan and I'm sure there are a lot of other Benoit fans out there but unfortunately he just can't draw enough.
2. The second reason is why Benoit can't draw a crowd. If the WWE was based in Europe instead of here in America I can guarantee wrestlers like Benoit, Angle, William Regal, and other technical wrestlers would be main eventing left and right. Unfrotunately, the American fan base has lost its appreciation for technical wrestling and can only get excited about the high impact wrestling. Over in Europe, although there are plenty of high impact wrestlers (Burchill and Smith came out of Europe), there are mainly just technical submission wrestlers over there because that is what the fans are about.

Your completely right Benoit's talent is being wasted on these nobodies. I think that they have to build up his storyline in order to get his shoot at the World Title which is why he has the US Championship Belt now. Now Benoit is one of the greatest submission wrestlers in the business but I have to say the Excellence of Execution, The Best there was, The Best there is, and The Best there ever will be Bret Hart is the best Submission werstler in the business. Again he did beat Beniot in the Owen tribute match. In which Owen beat Bret a few times lol. But Benoit's talents are being wasted at the moment I hope they do give him a World Title shot. If so Beniot would be one of the greats to ever hold that belt since Booker doesn't deserve it.

I do too, Benoit is better than even HBK. He always beat HHH. Benoit should be at the top. Yes Benoit's talent is without a doubt being wasted.
He's my favorite wrestler of all time.

The average joe has it right on the money. The american audience doesn't have the appreciation it once did for technical wrestling because the WWE pushes the "entertainment" aspect way too much. Benoit needs to get out of the WWE and go to TNA.

I do.. what the hell is Vince Mcmahon thinking. The Smackdown show has sucked for awhile now & they have the best technical wrestler right in front of their face and they don't utilize it they would rather push particuliar wrestlers into everyones face (if you know who I mean)

the problem is that he doesn't have the best character or best story line that the people fighting for the title have

They need to put him a a huge rivalry with someone - I say put him in a rivalry with the Undertaker!!! His popularity will soar and he will get the credit, exposure and praise he has deserved for years.
