Haha, sure! I easily have had to stay on my own in 3 diverse coutries (US, Czech Republic and Thailand) and continually made a habit of heading to the pub with a mag for some brews and snacks rather of only sitting in my house. i've got had effective quiet nights, relaxing occasion nights and met an excellent form of cool human beings!

best name of pub i have been to was the Fall Inn. great name!! my nearest pub is called the flag but it is full of scary people (and im talking proper criminals) plus they leech onto every woman who walks through the door. because of this i tend to go to the moon if any as it caters for everyone and has a garden, plus they put bands on frequently

My local pub is "the red quill"...quite nice but crowded in the weekend.
My favourite pub is called "Wallace", good craic!
...BUT they're far away from where you are (I live in Italy)
In Ireland the best pubs are "the brazen head"; "Cafè en Seine", "Auld dubliner", "St. John Oliver Gogharthy" and "temple bar"...all in Dublin.
In the UK I have been in a few pubs in London and one in Battle, but I really cant remember their names!
