I think it's ridiculous!! You're right, what happened to being a kid. Obviously most of us turned out alright after playing tag, flag football, red rover, red light-green light, etc. It just drives me crazy to see how politically correct & sue happy this country has become!

Things are getting crazy nowadays. Many parents are WAY too overprotective. Heck, little kids are indestructible. I remember when I was little, I couldve tripped and gotten a bloody nose on the pavement, and gotten up and been laughing and giggling. How will kids ever learn what to do and what NOT to do if they dont learn for themselves? Also, it drives me nuts that alot of parents cant spank their children in moderation without getting yelled at for child abuse. I got spanked when I did something bad, and I didnt turn out to be abusive or anything. Getting spanked was the 1st thing I thought about before I did something wrong. Plus, many parents dont teach their children about the ups and downs of sex drugs and alcohol, and they end up learning all of the wronf information from their friends on the playground. Overprotectiveness is definitly taking its toll..

Bloody ridiculous, no wonder there are so many fat kids around. Some schools in the UK have banned conkers ......the world has gone crazy! There are also warning signs under trees such as 'Beware falling apples' under an apple tree!
It is the lawyers fault, people are so scared of getting sued they just ban things.
