The morning after pill can make you feel really nauseous for a couple of days. It's basically a huge dose of hormones that your body wasn't expecting.
If she's still feeling ill by friday she should probably go and see her GP though.
I hope she feels better soon. She should be congratulated for taking all necessary precautions. Accidents do happen.

Poor girl - yes it is normal in some cases - it affects some more than others. Also, the tummy cramping can be far more painful than with a normal period so tell her if thats the case not to worry. My friend who took the same pill had about 4 days of feeling very rough, followed by a heavy bleed and the everything back to normal. I wish her well xx

The morning after has a 99% success rate. She shouldn't worry. Also, I assume she took the pill 'the morning after' she had sex? She wouldn't be sick from a pregnancy yet. It's only been 3 days. The hormones in the pills are strong and can upset her stomach.

Yes I'm afraid this is pretty normal, a friend took it a couple of years ago and complained of feeling nauseous for several days but she felt better eventually. If you are still feeling sick after a week go visit the doc.

Tell her to go and see her gp if she is worried as the morning after pill doesn't always work (sorry), it might just be a side effect but if her period is late do a pregnancy test and get some advice straight away.

Don't worry - it's entirely normal! But tell her she must stop herself from feeling sick, no matter how nauseous she feels. If she vomits she will have to take the tablet again. Did the doctor not inform her of this?
Here's some NHS advice: http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk/articles/article.aspx?articleId=455
Best thing for her to do is to go home, and go to bed with a hot water bottle and a cup of tea.

did she take it within 72 hours? its best to take it as soon as possible or the effectiveness reduces. It is normal to be sick as it is the main side effect of taking the morning after pill. If she is unsure get her to go to the dr's go with her for some extra support. she might have to do a pregnancy test.

The morning after pill throws your hormones out of whack so I would say that it is normal to feel unwell afterward. Tell her to give it a few days and see what happens.

Tell her to read the paper that came with the pill to see if she is just havin some side effects or if she should go to emergency room. All pills have side effects but read them just to be sure
