I have just recently heard of this game... And I am wondering how it really is... I've read an article in a gaming magazine but doesn't really tell how the gameplay is... I am planning on getting it and I am needing to know if it is worth the money...

The brush technique sounds iffy but it works. The art-style and story are awesome, and just the main adventure will keep you occupied about 4 times as long as most other games out there. If you're looking at it and it appeals to you, then you shouldn't be disappointed. The only negative aspects of it are that it isn't too challenging (which may be a positive thing, depending on how you look at it. If you're tired of breaking controllers in frustration, then this game will be a nice break from that...), and also there is no voice acting... just text and sound effects similar to those in Animal Crossing. But overall, Okami is a great experience that no gamer should go without.

My bf just bought it recently and I have spend couple of hours watching him play and I have to say it's pretty interesting. It's different than most of the games I've seen. First of all, you control a wolf that try to revive the world after it's being destoy or something like that, then the graphic is not like those regular art either, it's more like those asian paintings where they draw things with paintbrush strokes, it'll take a while to get use to it, but once you do, I think it's really pretty and mesmerizing. Then for your power attack, you basically use the paintbrush to paint your attack, it's kind of cool, one thing that annoys me though is the communication, they talk in the eeh eeh aah aah sound while you read the text, no I'm not making fun of any language here, cause it's not an actual language, it's just sounds, it annoys me at first, but my bf likes it... It's hard to desribe, but my bf thinks the game is awsome...

It is a lot like Windwaker but a lot eaiser and more fun. The art style is really cool. Though using the brush does get annoying if you mess up but other than that it is a really really good game.
