They don't 'change' they just allow you to see the real person. Prior to that you saw the person they thought you wanted to see.

Whether you realize it or not, when we first meet someone, we are on our best behaviour and try to put our best foot forward to impress....
As time goes on, we relax a bit in the other person's company and don't feel the need to impress anymore.
It is not that we don't care, it is just more laid-back...
You each tend to rub off on each other and your little knawing habits might start to surface and bug the other person. At the beginning of the relationship you might have been hiding these or you might have overlooked them even tho they were there, because you were interested in the person.
It happens to most couples...

Because you're getting to know all about them, their good AND their bad sides. People come in a package, and when you're in a relationship, you've agreed to open that package and see whats inside.
It sounds like you're having a tough time with someone. People change anyway, whether you're with them or not. Hope you manage to make peace with the person you're thinking of, or leave them, so you can be in peace.

I think once people realized that they have "reeled you in", or are more comfortable with you, they begin to show who they really are. Before then, most people are trying their very hardest to be on their best behavior to impress you.

The more you get to know someone, you get to know all of them....which includes the sides you don't always see when you have on "rose colored glasses". ...... learn to accept it or move on......don't you have a "not so glamorous" side??? We all do ..

Very often, what you see is not what you get..
You need to look close & dig deep before you commit...
