Has anyone made the observation that ghost, UFO and bigfoot type sightings were prevalent in the 70s and into the 80s (along with many blurry photos and grainy film) but in this day and age where many, if not most, people carry cell phones with still photo and video capabilities; the sightings are fewer in number? Could it be that the ghosts have become shy, the aliens have gotten better at cloaking themsleves and "bigfoot" has gone off to retire?

In case you couldn't tell by my question, there was touch of sarcasm there. hard to express sarcasm in text I guess. My point being, UFOs, ghosts and bigfoot were fads. Unless someone knows of a web site where people are posting thousands of pictures of these sightings? People aren't looking anymore? Supposedly, people weren't looking when they took photos and grain home movies before. They were just on vacation it happened.... Hmmmm... Wow... People still take vacations.... More of these people have digital cameras (less bad photos than with film due to being able to instantly view the photo and make any neccessary corrections). I think technology has debunked the myths. This and the fact that people have come forward and admitted the hoaxes of the Lochness Monster and crop circles.
