An indirect inguinal hernia occurs because of a persistence of an opening that usually closes before birth. An indirect hernia pushes down from the abdomen through the inguinal canal. In men, it may push into the scrotum. In women, it may push into the large fold of genital skin. This is the most common type of inguinal hernia and may occur at birth or in later life.

Indirect hernias are more common in men because the testicles (when they descend) and blood vessels pass through the inguinal canal, making the opening from the abdomen less likely to close completely.

If you have had large testicles all your life then there is no problem. If this is something new you need to get it checked out, soon! Maybe you are wearing really tight pants when you go shopping or walking. You've got big balls, be proud.

I'm guessing they've always been big and no injury was involved. You can check with a urologist. Testicles can be removed and replaced with a plastic prosthetic. You will be sterile, of course, but you sound ok with that.

You may have hydroceles. Check with your doctor. I had one testicle so affected and had a urologist operate and fix the problem. Rather painless surgery. Quick recovery. BUT, check with your doctor PLEASE!!

I would see a doctor. It could be a sign of Kennedy Disease, which affects males. Definitely see a doctor...

You might have freaky genes which did this to you. Or - perhaps you might have some diseases which can cause enlarged balls. See a good professor of urology ASAP>
