I use XP, my computer will all of a sudden stop. The screen goes black but I can still see the cursor but not move it. I have checked the memory and it showed errors but on second run it showed no errors. I have replaced the motherboard, cpu and hard drive and it still keeps happening. Any ideas?

I have run several virus and adware scans. I scraped the harddrive and reloaded the os and it still does it. Also, it occurs if I try to play games downloaded from yahoo games and certain game sites. I don't have a graphics card. Think it's graphics?

Hi. Check the graphics card if you use one. Usually a PC does not crash for no reason. Timing can be an issue if you use different RAM sticks.
