Help! I'm in an intercultural communications class, and we're studying intercultural awareness. Any ideas on activities/exercises we could do to explore this topic?

Two things come to mind.

1. Have each person of a different culture bring slides of things peculiar to his/her culture. Show all slides of all people.

2. have everyone take an English class, and when done, they can meet again to describe to each other how their cultures were mostly due to traditions that were actually left with the culture when they came to America because these traditions were based on limited education, limited personal freedom, limited income, and little understanding of anything outside the culture in which one was raised.
