ANYONE can get hemmoroids! It is simply a blood vessel that has stretches and become inflammed due to straining with bm's, chronic constipation, sitting too long, standing too long, or any number of things. Cortisone creams help and warm baths. Tell the "guy" to see the doc. Godloveya.

This may sound like a joke but it's not. Men will usually get hemorrhoids because they sit on their butts too much. Truck drivers have this problem all the time because their job requires them to sit most of the day.

Trying to hard or being backed up. Any kind of strain lifting can also cause it. Actually, just being on your feet all day on a hard surface can cause it. Some people are just more prone than others.
