Buckle down and do your work. If you make straight A's for the next two weeks, that should balance your grades out to at least C's...which are still unacceptable, but at least you'll be off the hook with your parents and able to see your boyfriend. Also ask your teachers if they'll allow you to do extra credit assignments. Write some papers, answer bonus questions, etc. By any means necessary, get those grades up!

It looks to me that your mind is on the boy and not on your work. Mail him a card and make it up to him later. You really should pay more attention to your work. In the real world you will not be able to get a job. Nobody wants stupid employees or girlfriends.

Study hard. You might explain to your parents that it's his birthday and they may let you take him a gift, but I think your parents are right. If you're failing your classes you need to bring your grades up. Maybe you could get your teachers to give you a progress report. If your parents see that your grades are improving maybe they'll let you see him for his birthday.
