thank you for proving my point exactly. and to clarify, being black is something you cant help, homosexuality is.
If this question gets deleted, it proves my point exactly. The Constitution gaurantees free speech to everyone, not just people who agree with you.

yeah, and when i was a kid i thought girls were "yucky" too, but i grew out of it, to say someone is gay from birth is ludacris, because you dont even start to find poeple sexually attractive until puberty.

"Homphobe" is a fictitious power word created to further pro-homosexual causes.

Every time someone throws the word in the air, I immediately know they have reduced themselves to the bottom of their ability to reason and have no further items to contribute to the argument. It has become the default for those that cannot further discuss intelligently. Blanketing all those that disagree with them using this word is the easy way out.

You CAN disagree with someone's view without being afraid of them.

Just to let you know, I'm a conservative gay who agrees with you about the misuse of the word "homophobia." I am saddened by your piety, but I gotta admit it isn't irrational or unusual to be pious. And I also recognize what you mean by the "morals and ethics ... this country is losing." I recognized this phenomenon way back when I was young, long before I every came out.

Like the "liberals" here who have been chastising you and your question, I believe that homosexuality/bisexuality is not a choice. And there have been a few people whom I've met in person who have tried to tell me that my sexual attraction is merely a "temptation" which responsible people learn to control. I don't agree, but I also recognize the difficulties in proving the point.

So, to repeat, I respect the fact of what you believe and I agree that the liberals have been using the word "homophobe" for the political advantage, not because the word is accurately used to describe people like yourself.

wait, my favorite is when the call me "intolerant." I tolerate homosexuality. it's not a hate issue, when it comes down to it i love people who practice homosexuality. I say "practice" because people are too important to be defined by their sexual orientation. I've found that anyone that I've debated with on any logical front cannot adequately defend that lifestyle. the only thing that they end up telling me is, "i just think/feel that people should be allowed to do what makes them happy. if two people love each other they should be able to be together. (sometimes they add) I think God should understand that." this IS america and homosexuality shouldn't be outlawed; but don't force me to be a part of it. don't fill my movies and tv with it and don't tell me that they have the right to get married. marriage was God's idea and people who would be breaking God's laws by consumating their marriage should not be allowed to get married in the first place. Oh, by the way, for those who are wondering, everything that is working in accordance to natural design produces something. How can a homosexual lifestyle reproduce?

Well for one - what does it mean to DISAGREE with homosexuality exactly? It's like saying you disagree with rain or you disagree with oceans. You can disagree with homosexuals but the first statement makes no sense, you can't disagree with reality.

Secondly if you say you are against the perversion of America and you're referring to homosexuals as the "perversion" then in reality you're not homophobic you're a homosexual hater. You have your morals and ethics (which include hating people for no reason other than they're different from you). These are not everyone elses morals and ethics.

Good luck to you my friend.

You are not Homophobic, you are or should be entitled to your own opinions on homosexuality. But as I suspect
it the same in America as it is in Britain, that unless you agree with the establishment (The politically correct idiots )you will be vilified ,wether you disagree with homosexuality,Critisize immigration controls ,for which you are likely to be accused of racism,or any other opinions you may have on any other subject that the establishment does not like you will be called homophobic ,racist ,a bigot Free speech disappeared years ago.

Yes, and it's the same when anyone raises legitimate questions about Islam; he is labelled an Islamophobe. That's the way that people legitimise things which are unacceptable. If you point out that homosexual intercourse goes against nature you will be told that you are old-fashioned or homophobe, or whatever it is. People think that because we are now in 21st century we should condone everything, but some things are wrong and will always be so.

Disagreeing or disapproving of someone's lifesytle does not mean you hate them, despise them or secretly wish you had the courage to be one of them. Liberals resort to name calling and labeling because they can not longer reason with logic and have lost their arguement. I can disapprove of a drug dealer's lifestyle choices and not be a bigot, homophobe, racist or narrow minded redneck hick. The same goes for homosexuals, transsexuals, or any other behavior that I do not agree with.

They're not that just makes you normal. You must have gotten spammed by the Right Wingers with that Homophobe comment. They are just going to any lengths to cover-up Foley and Hastert to remain in power in Congress. That's the mentality of the sick and twisted you know.
