Professors give this to their students so students will learn to be responsible for getting there assisgnments in without being reminded.. The professor's usually dont remind them and expects the assignments turned in on time without excuses

Hi there, it is called a syllabus and is given to students on the first day. I would make copies and keep one at home somewhere where you keep important files, (bills, etc.) and one in your car in your glove compartment, and then one in your notebook. That way you don't have any excuse, that is what I did....and it helped lol. Good luck.
PS-in my school (though it was a small private school) the professors were usually pretty good about reminding us about things that were due a week before hand but don't count on them doing that at the bigger universities.

It's called a syllabus and I think it's a good idea. I get them for my son who's in High School (when I can 'cause most of the teachers don't prepare in advance.)
