I used to have the internet explorer task bar on the upper left hand corner of my screen. How do I restore it?

The task bar had green backward, forward, and refresh buttons + home icon etc. It is not visable now. How do I restore its visability again?

Go to "View" Menu -> "Toolbars" -> Choose "Standard Buttons" and the buttons should be back

Just try clicking start then on controlpanel, then on screen appearances then click on restore this computer to a former setting
