You must see the females performing all types of chores in the third world and still managing to add to the population growth. Normal heavy lifting and heavy work causes no problems.

However, excess training periods of heavy lifting as also other endurance exercises may cause anovulatory cycles, which return back to the normal ovulatory cycles some time after heavy endurance exercises are discontinued.

I have done hard work all my life and shoveling clay into a wheelbarrow is the least of what I have done as well as many other women. Women have jobs doing all types of physical labor these days and I don't see any less children running around. Sounds like you are just trying to get out of a honest days work. Get off the key board and get on the shovel.

Depending on how heavy the object(s) is/are and the frequency would affect whether you would have trouble in the future.
Heavy lifting over a lengthy period of time whether you are fit or not can cause hernias, damage to the broad ligaments to the uterus and can even cause a prolapsed uterus (a uterus that actually falls out of its positon and often times can actually end up falling out of your vagina).
The chances of these things happening in this day and age is probably slim and none as us women of today aren't as heavy of lifter as women back in the late 1890's etc.
Today because of information available to us,we actually take better care of our bodies than did our foremothers.

As long as the heavy lifting is in moderation and not everyday you should be okay.
A woman should not go lifting furniture, appliances, things that are extremely heavy.
If you do you can possibly damage your pelvic floor muscles which are needed to carry children and give birth. The damage can be so severe that your floor muscles can require stitching or a sling to be surgically placed to help your pelvic floor muscles.

If you are really concerned check with your doctor. :)

Weight lifting is an activity that goes against gravity. When the weight is too heavy, this leads to hernia and broken bones. Be sure the weight is not too much.

no!

if that was the case then in the past when females had to hunt, gather etc the human race would have gone extinct

many females use that as an excuse to do as little as possible (as the old saying goes "a womans work is never done" as some of the work is to heavy"

The activities you describe are not likely to cause any harm. It might be wise to limit these activities if you were in the later stages of being pregnant, but good muscle tone is a good to have, and most likely contributes to having healthy children.

Using the guidelines you've given, no. A woman cannot damage her insides to that degree. In fact, it takes great trauma from external factors to cause any degree of internal damage, trauma a woman is not capable of causing to herself from any type of lifting.

As long as you are healthy and not over doing it. Your womanly stuff should be fine. Be more concerned about pulling a muscle or straining your back.
Women have done this type of work while they were pregnant.
I dont think it would hinder your ability to have children at all.

If her partner wants to have children, then the answer is most definitely "yes"! Then get him to do all the work whilst you watch and supervise him.
But in truth, the answer is ""no" - but I still think you should go for the supervision bit... after all, there must be some use for men on this earth........
