ok.. its for windows xp.. how do i go about putting all the settings back to what they were yesterday before any updates were made?? please help!

thank you so much jerry!! i just did it.. the stupid computer did updates (not so necessary) and then it changes all the fonts/task bar/icon sizes.. like microscopic! did not like one bit, and i couldn't change it by going into any settings! so thanks again!

Start > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore

Through Help and Support:

1. Click Start, and then click Help and Support.
2.Under Pick a Task, click Undo changes to your computer with System Restore.
3.Follow the instructions on the wizard.

System restore in the hope the system made a restore point before you did whatever you did then backdate the clock a day, do what you meant to do, then move the clock back to today.

You find system restore by start, programs, accessories, system tools, system restore.

If you have system restore enabled in your computer, it is possible to return to a previous date (if this information was stored). Right click on the "my computer" option, and determine there if system restore is enabled on your cpu.

click on the time in the bottom right corner of you screen...

Go to "Start"...Lower left...Go to "Control Panel" go to "Date & Time"..
