Have you deleted the cookies? Go on START..click on RUN... then type cookies and Ctrl + A and hit delete. Then go into Start again and go to all programs...then accessories...system tools..then...disk defragmenter. Follow these steps again and click on disk cleanup. You will be surprised how much your computer will free up. It not a miracle worker but it helps!

Also delete Internet cookies...open Internet window, click on tools...then click on Internet options...delete cookies...ok. Presto hopefully your computer frees up some space.

You can go to Windows Update (Internet Explorer Tools or Help menu) for most drivers. For some, you need to go to the website of the company that manufacturered the hardware.

If your computer started slowing down recently, try using Windows XP System Restore (Start > Accessories > System Tools) to rewind your system to a time when it worked better. You won't lose changes that you've made to documents - just software and system settings.
