i've been trying to have a baby. We've tryed about 10 times already and still nothing. He used to do drugs a long time ago but hasn't done illegal drugs in more then a year. Can hes sperm still be bad? can i still get pregnant by him? how do you know if hes sperm is good or bad. how long will it take to get pregnat? Someone please help??!~!!!

First of all, Just because he did drugs does not mean his sperm might be bad. Think about this, Do you know how many "baby daddy's who smoke weed/do other drugs" that have fathered multiple children? Too many. Now my husband and I got married in December '06 (neither of us used any drugs) and we didnt get pregnant until this May. We tried and tried to the point that I felt something was wrong with us. I kept faith in god (prayed for a healthy pregnancy) and I ordered some PreSeed (a lubricant that helps sperm travel) and I GOT PREGNANT the first time using it! Go to preseed.com and order some. Thats a good question and one that only a doctor will be able to answer, Health Clinics can offer ideas as well! I had a fertility test done years ago when my wife and I were try to have our son. The test process was interesting to say the least, they(A Female Nurse) hands you a sterile sealed collection cup and a penthouse magazine and take you to a room and tell you to be sure to get the semen to them immediately after ejaculation. Yeah, weird , I know! It was not a problem on my end I literally had millions of soldiers prepared for battle. My son was concieved shortly after this.
But anyway sweet heart if he has been off the drugs and totally clean he should be health enough to empregnated you. Time it with your ovulation and try to be as passionate as possible, the hormones you create are important to the whole process.

No his sperm is not bad...It takes some girls longer to get pg than others... when it hits over a 1 1/2 years see a Dr so you can get checked to see if you are infertile. Most important you boy needs to get checked to see if his sperm count is up to normal. It can be a lot of reasons why you have not got pg... but it could be nothing as well...keep trying and when God is ready He will bless you with a child, but remember you are on His time...

Well, from reading all your other questions, your way too young to be having a baby. You siad it yourself your mother, didn't even want you to have a blood test done because she didn't want to hear if you got pregnant or not. A baby is really hard work, and before you try to bring one into this world, you should really think how you would support it. If you think your boy friends is going to support both of you, your wrong. I'm sure he's just as young as you are, and can't even work full time, because your both in school right now. Sweetie, I think your way too young to have a baby right now. You should really think about it. Sorry if I sounded so burden, but I know so many people who had kids so young and their boy friends left them, and now they are having it hard. No money to feed the baby, can't even buy diapers, and fomular. So please really think about your life, and what's best for you and your future. Take care!

Everyone who's suggesting some fertility tests is right. They'll need a sample from your partner to determine if there are enough sperm (count), if they have heathly shape (morphology), and if they're moving (motility). These tests will see if the sperm sample is "good". If there's something wrong, a fertility Dr. can advise you on what to do next.

There's still a possibility of infertility on his part. Go to a fertility clinic and get some tests run. They will be able to help you and tell you where your difficulty is lying.

just forget about getting pregnant leave it to chance it's more likely to happen then,theres only about eight hours for a woman to get pregnant in one month so dont worry a doctor wont help untill you have been trying for two years,,

first you need to relax it's harder to conceive if you are anxious.Second have your doctor test his sperm.It could be low sperm count from the drugs.

ACTUALLY BABY, YOU NEED TO HAVE HIM GO TO THE DOCTOR AND GET ALL OF THAT CHECK OUT, B/C IF YOU REALLY WANT TO HAVE A BABY WITH HIM MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS KOSHER, BEFORE YOU MAKE ANY MOVES.
