I am going through the same thing at the moment as the girl who I thought was the one for me left me and the way I am dealing with it is to think as much as it may hurt how much love and hard work you put into your relationship and then think to your self no matter who he finds they will never treat him as well as you did and then realise you didn't lose him he lost you it ma be hard but it can help mend a broken heart

Sweetie, I was married for seven years. I finally left my husband because I was not happy anymore. I loved him like a friend not as a wife loving her husband. During the time of separation I thought several times about getting back together with him. I had to remind myself why I left him in the first place. The emptiness hurt so bad I was willing to let myself be miserable, just to be happy? I was strong and didn't give in to temptation. I was looking for someone to fill the loneliness and no one could or they were just wrong for me. I finally stopped looking and he found me. Just out of the blue. I am happy again. Ya it takes some time but there had to be a reason you left or he left you. Take it as a life lesson and move on. Love works in mysterious ways!

The best thing to do is get involved in every possible POSITIVE acitivity out there! Start working out, contact some friends you may have been neglecting, spend time with your family. Positive things that pass the time and keep your mind off of him will help! Hang in there and good luck!!!

That completely sucks. It will take you about 2 years to get over this. In the meantime, take a class or 2, fill your time with other things that give your life meaning.

Either get back together or if that is not an option then just move on, you have friends and family, no guy is irreplaceable

Go shopping, hang out with friends, and try to move on. You will continue to think about him, if you don't try and focus on something else.

Do something for yourself! Do everything for yourself! Go out with your friends. Start networking. Find someone new...who deserves you!
