a river starts out as a small stream them as time goes by it grows in size and it turns into a young river it has no flood plane or oxbows it has water falls it turns into a midlife river when it starts getting a flood plane and it may grow widened and gouge out a deeper river bed out and it will have raps and as a river ages it will slow down and become more peaceful and have wide banks and it Will be very flat and move rocks and boulders along with it.
