If women are more mature than men, why do some of them go into relationships thinking they can change the man?

Maturity is not greater by the gender. Only through wisdom can someone find maturity.

Well, we all have "that thing" wanting to help others,especially men and when you are woman in love, you are blind,stupid and helplessly romantic...we think that we can change men but at the end we change ourselves.

That has nothing to do with maturity. It's just plain ignorance :P I always say accept the man as he is or just don't get into the relationship. After all, the more you try to change him the more he rebels.

Well...

because men didnt know how to treat women right until they sat around thinking about it for a good 2 years or ..one of the women they dated told em that leaving their dirty socks in the middle of the living room..was just not right.

Men need to be educated by women who know what theyre doing because its intrinsic for a woman to try and mold the man into a husband when he was living as a single human being with no responsibilites and awareness of a significant other.

As proof, Ill state that most divorced men know how to deal with a woman and family because theyve already been there.

Most men also will not move their butts off the tv set to take out the trash unless the woman yells at them for the 23rd time...most women see that from their own parents and know some sort of 'civilizing' and etiquette need to be taught.

Because women and men are different and we think "if only he will do this or that" then he would be the perfect man, so we set out to change him into the perfect man. And it almost never works.

I agree with you. Most women, though, believe that they can change everyone and that they are in control of the lives of others. The truth is that the only person that someone can change is themselve. Change always comes from within.

We try to change them because women know best. We know if you are screwing up and how to fix it. Men are so stubborn and are usually in trouble because they don't listen to the women.
