According to both "mugglenet.com" and JK Rowling's web site, there is no 'absolute date' set. The rumor floating currently is that it is to be released sometime in July of 2007. as to what the truth is, who knows. BUT I CANT WAIT!

Apprently she wants the release date of 07/07/07, because it's the seventh book and pretty special and all. But she's having trouble because of the 07/07 bombings in London. Gah!

As far as we know, JKR is in the process of writing the 7th book. We do not know when it will be released for the public. Speculation is 7-7-07.
