Yahoo is a web based email service, there is no way you can configure your Outlook Express to download email from Yahoo. However you can fool the system into letting your Outlook Express download your email.

You will need a third party software called YPops, this only work on the classic Yahoo email, it does not work with the new Beta.

The configure your Outlook Express, POP3 or Post Office Protocol is the server where your email will be downloaded. Wiht YPOPS, this should be localhost, your SMTP is also localhost.

Presto, your Outlooks is ready to receive email.

Only your internet provider knows for sure, however, it is most likely pop3. I suggest contacting your provider. They are there to help you use & configure the service you are paying them for . A call center agent will take you through the process step by step.
