So most of the girls on the volleyball team are self counsious and freak out at the thought of wearing regular undies in uniform because of panty lines. Is it really that bad?

If you are going to be working out or in this case playing a sport, regular panties are the way to go. Thongs and G-strings can be uncomfortable plus can lead to chaffing and other not too good things. They need to be focused on what's the best for the sport, it's not about looks in this case.

No.... there is nothing wrong with panty lines. I f I was on the team I would wear granny panties under my shorts... who cares about panty lines there natural for women because of the way our panties are made with the crotch area.

A panty line has never scared me. Honestly most people don't care if you have a panty line.

panty lines arent that bad, the thought that if you cant see the lines.... people dont think you're wearing them?... no.. people will assume you wear them, so if they see pantylines, they merely KNOW you do. its merely a matter of personal preference, in the real world, no one cares.

for me it's not. as long as it's clean, you shouldn't have any qualms about wearing regular undies. as far as i'm concerned, guys don't check for panty lines daily.
