This is what happend. You started to install but didn't finish now the computer has a incomplete install. This is why you get the error. It dosen't have all the files it needs. So you would have to delete what is on it right now and start over. The above post explained partitions

but how do i do this

even if u insert a windows CD in to the cd-rom that does not mean ur running the setup...
of course, if u have not fully installed the OS then when it starts it will say that, OS can not be loaded..
so u will have to boot from the CD...
to do this, when the systems startup, go to settings and change the boot drive to CD rom...then boot from the CD, delete the old pertitions, create new pertitions and install windows fully
it should work

turn the pc on press F2 or the delete key or F8 one of these keys will bring you into the bios window when in there look for boot order or boot devices change the first boot device to cd it will tell you how to do this at the bottom of the screen usally with the + - buttons or the page up and page down buttons then save your settings usally by pressing esc then save changes and it will reboot if your cd is in it will then boot from your cd, it will ask you to press a key to boot from cd.

That's because your PC is attempting to boot from the flawed Windows installation rather than from the setup CD. Please check your boot sequence in the PC BIOS. Also, you may get a message when the PC starts : "press any key to boot from CD".....be sure to press a key when you see this message.

Re-format the drive from scratch, then re-install. Make sure your system is compatable with your OS.

its trying to boot from the hard drive..either tell the system via the bios to boot from the CD/DVD drive or else format the hard drive so nothing is on it

sounds like its not actually booting from the cd. restart the pc and enter your bios settings. usually f2 or del. find the boot sequence and make it boot from cd first. hey presto. or summin like that. hope this helps.
