Malaysia has Mega Sales about three times a year, where the whole country has a huge sale. I think the next one is in March. The prices are fantastic, and you'll probably get the best deal there during this time.
If you're not travelling during this period, then Thailand is probably your best bet.

You will have a great time as they are all lovely countries. Kuala Lumpur must be one of the loveliest and most interesting cities in the world.
I think you will find that Thailand is the place where goods will be cheapest, but be careful of sharp practice by jewellers in Bangkok. I got ripped off to the tune of £3000 some years ago and even though I bought with their credit card I had a three year battle to get my money back from the Coop Bank.

of the 3 countries, singapore is the cheapest place to buy authentic luxury swiss watches. visit watch stores like hour glass, sincere watch, the rest you can check up in the yellow pages. they will be able to extend a 5 to 10% discount off the retail price, depending on the brand. certain brands are discounted more then others.

If your are looking to buy 'Real' watches, my advise is Singapore Changi Airport Duty Free shops.
In Malaysia, you can get nice watches but you must be prepared to bargain for the best deals.
However, if you are looking for 'less then real, look-a-like' watches, you can try the night markets of Thailand. For a fraction of the price, you can get a relatively good condition watch, however, don't expect any warranty or guarantees.

for the original, visit KLCC or any other shopping complexes in KL. the prices will not differ much since is controlled but there will be discounts because of the shopping carnival megasales now. insist on the receipt and original certification of the watch.
