I would be The kind that let him whisk me into the bedroom and have his way with me. But I wouldn't say that this is what your girl would do. It really depends if she like to play around like that in the bedroom.
Does she have a dildo. and if so have the two of you tried using it together? I know what you are thinking and I'm not saying what you are thinking. You could use it on her, and while you are having sex with her you could rub it against her clitoris and she could rub against you balls and the shaft while she is giving you head and this trust me would drive you insane. And if she has a dildo then she will enjoy this as well.
But if not then I would talk to her about some things that you could do and she might be interested in, that way you don't walk in and freak her out.

Have you discussed this with her? Have the two of you talked about various things that each of you might want to try?
If so, and if this is one of the things you have discussed, I would say fine, go ahead. But unless she has indicated to you in some way that she would find the idea of handcuffs erotic, I wouldn't just spring it on her out of nowhere.
And if she is interested in that sort of thing, a much more romantic way would be to start off with something like some beautiful silk scarves to tie her hands instead of handcuffs. And you need to be willing to be on the receiving end here, too.
Everyone is different.....the main thing I would say is, COMMUNICATE with her ahead of time about things like this.

If you're just starting to find ways to spice things up, that sounds a little threatening. Why not have a hot bubble bath waiting with candles - chocolate fountain and strawberries... after feeding her in the bath tub lead her into the bedroom soaking wet and give her a relaxing massage. That will make her want to do ANYTHING to please you even if it means handcuffs later.

I've hinted around to the tying to the headboard thing (never handcuffs, just scarves or something). My man doesn't seem to be too interested in that one. :o(

I don't know about handcuffs right off. But I've found that walking up quietly behind her and asking "You got a boyfriend?" is nice. If she starts playing along, just pretend you don't know her, and you're about to have a one night stand! Its a nice little game. Then maybe you should try the handcuffs.

I would go for it but some ladies wouldn't. Try taking her to a romantic dinner @ a hotel and then up to a room for a bubble bath and massage with flavored lotions. That's pretty spicy to me!!!!

The idea is spicy. Maybe trade in the handcuffs in for a satin scarf, there is more options with that then bondage.
