Will you be considered a criminal who has something to hide if you do not allow your face to be picked up with facial recognition?

"Don't pay so much attention to the cameras" ... The cameras dont need to pay so much attention to me. Neither do the anonymous number of people on the other side of them.

Jeanie N, can i video tape you (top down) from the privacy of my home?

carolinatinpan, you idiot, cameras prevent nothing. A camera cannot stop a criminal physically. Just as a cop cant teleport to the locatale of a crime. Cameras have no effect on anythign but petty crimes.

A situation such as this could get very tricky considering the amount of people who wear hats that would hide faces if the camera was recording from somewhere above. Should the government ban all hats from being worn in public?

Also, it would be hard for a government who has in its Constitutional Bill of Rights to tell a person who wears a specific type of garment for religious purposes that he or she cannot wear said garment in public due to face recognition needs. It would go against one of the base principles of the United States of America - freedom of religion and worship.

It might be illegal at some times already.

I believe there is, or was, a law in NYC which porhibited people from protesting while wearing masks. It would prohibit KKK members from protesting in hoods, but would also prohibit something like Tibetans protesting in front of the Chinese embassy who hid their identities to avoid reprisals against family members.

An interesting issue. I don't remember what happened.

Wow I never thought of that. It is getting very ridiculous now we are being monitored all the time. I wonder who is monitoring the ones who are watching us? And who is monitoring the top guys? who's to say they don't do bad things, yet we cant watch them. I SAY WE HAVE A REVOLUTION BEFORE IT WONT EVEN BE SAFE TO GO TO THE DOCTOR, they might install a micro-chip in us so they can track us. No I am not paranoid, just realistic. People who say we are to paranoid because we think the government will install chips in us are blind!

Hello... Mr. Kool,

Sounds to me like maybe you do have something to hide.
Do You? What are you so worried about? Don't pay so much attention to the cameras and live your life to the fullest. There is so much more important things to think about right where you live. Pay attention to that. Love yourself and love God, that way you can love your family and more of your neighbors and smile for that camera.
Sincerely ...J. (:

it solely depends, if it is a shop or for any security reasons certainly it is illegal , to hide ,

as prior to anything, hiding your face itself demonstrates a non law abiding person ,

so hiding face will turned to be illegal, if that particular establishment have experienced some miss deed.

Probably. Only guilty people would try to hide. But then, if you hid your face, how would they find you?
