Hi I've found out that im pregnant this morning i've done a home pregnancy test! I'm on antibiotics for thrush and can't get into my docs till friday! Shall i stop takin them or not only i have it quite bad which makes sense now as I had it last time i was pregnant but not quite as bad!

Are you sure you are on antibiotics for thrush? Thrush is yeast...It's the same thing as a vaginal yeast infection except in you mouth. Antibiotics is usually why you get a yeast infection...because it kills the bacteria. Seems more likely you are on medicine for yeast like diflucan. It's hard to answer the question completely since you have not listed the medicine. Some are OK and some are not.
Whatever medicine you are taking you can call the pharmacist and ask them what FDA Pregnancy Category the medicine is in. A = very safe, B = rather safe, C = inadequate testing to be certain...use as needed and with caution, D = not safe, E = very unsafe. You can feel confident using categories A-C.

i would call the doctor ho gave you the medicine and talk to him about it. tell him that you think you are pregnant and see what he says about it. i have never had thrush so i don't know if you should stop taking it or not.

I would treat it the same way it was treated last time you were pregnant and had it! Also, you can always call your doc.

call your doctors office or you ob clinic and ask.
I am also pregnant and i was given zithromax 2 times this pregnancy for tonsilitis. If you are on zithromax you should be fine.

call your doctor's office and ask them, even w/o an appointment they can tell you if the antibiotics will hurt your child.
