Until that apple fell on Isaac Newton's head everyone was happily floating about playing with the birds etc. There were some serious injuries when the moment happened. Those people on a day trip to the moon were never seen again.

Isaac Newton Invented Gravity
Isaac Newton (1642-1727), the great English physicist, never invented gravity. Gravity was always around. It is a condition of any object which possesses mass. Newton was the first person to explain accurately how the force of gravity acted upon matter within our universe. Standing on the shoulders of such eminent scientists as Galileo and Kepler, Newton postulated that the force of attraction between two objects was directly proportional to their masses (the quantity of matter which they contained) and inversely proportional to the square of the distances between these bodies. Mythology recounts that Newton? inspiration for his idea was triggered by watching an apple fall from a tree at his home in Woolsthorp, England. He pondered the question as to whether the same force of gravity that accelerated the apple towards the ground was responsible for holding the moon in its orbit around the Earth. His investigations led Newton to the conclusion that they were the same force, and the quantification of gravity resulted.
This is one of the misconception in astronomy.

LOL, Nobody invented gavity ( Gravity ) it is a natural phenomenon caused by the rotation of the earth and gravitational pull of the poles, The theory was penned by Newton ( Newtons Law ).

Gavity...
I'll assume you are talking about gravity being that I've never heard of the term GAVITY... But GRAVITY...
Gravity isn't an invention first off...
The answer to who invented gravity is GOD !
But - Sir Isaac Newton was sitting beneath a tree one day when an apple fell on his head... Hence he began theorizing on the force responsible for the phenomena we currently termed as GRAVITY.

Discovery of gravity is discovered by Sir Isaac Newton .No doubt it is existing since more than trillion years, but as per your question it is as follows:
Since the time of the Greek philosopher Aristotle in the 4th century BC, there have been many attempts to understand and explain gravity. Aristotle believed that there was no effect without a cause, and therefore no motion without a force. He hypothesized that everything tried to move towards their proper place in the crystalline spheres of the heavens, and that physical bodies fell toward the center of the Earth in proportion to their weight. Another example of an attempted explanation is that of the Indian astronomer Brahmagupta who, in 628 AD, wrote that "bodies fall towards the earth as it is in the nature of the earth to attract bodies, just as it is in the nature of water to flow".
In 1687, English mathematician Sir Isaac Newton published the famous Principia, which hypothesizes the inverse-square law of universal gravitation.

Mr. R who just fell off due to 'gravity' to make it 'gavity'!!!
Newton became a genius when an apple fell on his head...(good that a jack fruit didn't fall on him! Otherwise, history would have been different). So he should have used the word 'gravity' first.
Who might have experienced gravity first (before the word 'gravity' was coined)? adam & eve
Who is currently experiencing more gravity? None other than George Bush....as his downfall is quite faster!

i suppose NO ONE really invented gravity. it is an innate property of all things - humans, tables, etc. these forces of attraaction occur. however, gravity is only VERY OBVIOUS in objects with large masses such as whole planets. gravity is proportional to the mass, and the more mass an object is the higher is the gravitational force
following this line of reasoning, for you to know who invented gravity, you should first know who invented the planets... the universe... and so on. i bid you good luck in your search for an answer where a lifetime is not enough!
