i went as a high priestess last party i went to - cassock with a big hood to cover your head - the not knowing who it is sends them into a bit of a tizzy!!

Wear little shorts and get a tight T-shirt printed with Camp Crystal Lake Camp Counselor on it. Then use a fake knife and fake blood to make it look like you've been stabbed. Camp Crystal Lake is the setting for the Friday 13th movies. If you're going with someone, they could go in a hockey mask as Jason.

Alternatively, there are always movies like The Slumber Party Massacre or Sorority House Massacre - you could wear a babydoll nightie and fluffy mule slippers, hair in bunches etc and do the same thing with the fake blood. If I remeber correctly, the killer in Sorority House Massacre was one of the girls, who was possessed by a demon and ran around in a nightie with a chainsaw.

I also have a recollection of a particularly dire horror title - Maniac Nurses Find Ecstasy - you could do something interesting with that!

Last year I went as Little Red, I wore a lil black dress, sexy red hooded cape, fishnets and sexy red pumps. I carried a basket with candy in it. I was the sexiest girl there. My boyfriend at the time went as Big Bad. (It was a couples party) It wasn't exactly scary but it was fun. This year I'm goin by myself and I'm going to be a mermaid (with a fishing hook caught in her back: sexy and scary or at least kinda gross)

Also a couple of years agao I went to a party where you had to wear costumes that were not so obvious and people had to guess what you were or were trying to say kinda like charades or something. For example my friend glued those Smarties candies all over her pants - She was a smarty pants. I wore a big felt apple pie glued on the back of my pants because I was Sweet *** Apple Pie (Sweet as apple pie) it was fun guessing but I like the obvious costume parties too. Other example for the curious or interested: my other friend wore high heels and a tshirt dress that she wrote the word"love" all over because she was head over heels in love; another girl wore a shirt with a barcode and an old expration date cause she was spoiled... I think we were young so cheap that we didn't want to spend money on real costumes.

I remember one that was funny, It was an old man rubber mask on, old cap, and long raincoat walk up and down and every now and then open coat and flash a torch from under the coat and you're a flasher you have to make a hole in coat pocket to hold torch wear a card round neck under coat saying FLASHER. It was quite funny as it was a woman wearing it and everyone just laughed
