Some cramping and feelings are normal, my doctor told me to expect some because your stomach is stretching to make room for the baby. If you feel that it is serious than call your doctor and ask to speak to a nurse. The receptionists aren't allowed to tell you anything over the phone and the nurse will save you a doctor's visit and will also tell you if they think you should come in. More than likely they will say if you continue to feel them come in, but not unless they are severe. It's totally up to you, but I have called and asked for a nurse at my doc's office and it has seriously saved me a trip and nothing was wrong. (not the same situation)

It sounds like Braxton Hicks. Contractions feel like a tightening of your abdomen or like a period cramp. Braxton Hicks are the practice contractions. They hurt sometimes, but they're helping your body get ready for labor, so just try to think of them as a good thing! Good luck with your pregnancy!

what all the other answers are forgetting is that braxton hicks are painless contractions they do not hurt if the pain was bad then call your doctor now whether you are bleeding or not as the baby can entangle in the cord and this causes severe pain and also placenta breaking away causes pain sometimes,so be safe

could be normal but you should call the doctor regardless. It never hurts to ask. Don't feel silly if it's nothing. You should ALWAYS ask if there's any question in your mind
