You PRAY girlfriend! Prayer is VERY Powerful!
Find a church close to you and ask for prayer. You see satan wants to destroy us and scare us. Satan is the father of all lies.
We had a girl in our Bible Study and she was 7-8 months and had found out she had rubella in her blood test. NO! We prayed. You need to be in a group of believers. The prayers of believers avail much.
James 5:15 And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.
Get "Power of a praying woman" by Stormie Omarian. Very good. You need Faith girl and all will be fine. Your life will never be the same once you accept Jesus in your heart. My life changed all for the better. I'm living testimony.
Jer 29:11-13 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. 12 Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. 13 And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.
Phil 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God;
Christ's Blessings to you and your baby.

I went through the EXACT same thing. Dont worry your baby will be absolutly fine. It will be a higher risk pregnancy but everything will be fine. They will take good care of you and your baby. What it means is that there were some cells that could eventually lead to "cervical cancer" But at this point they probably arent cancer. They will watch you a little closer to make sure they arent transforming into cancer. When the baby is born they will do a biopsy and possibly find a way to get rid of them. There are alot of options out there, I chose what is called "LEEP" its one of the most used methods of treatment. Really theres nothing to it, doesnt cause much pain at all. Then for the next year you will have to be seen like ever 3 months for repeat paps to make sure all is normal. Its not that big of a deal, Actually its pretty common. Dont stress too much, as long as you have a wonderful doctor they will take care of you. They see these things everyday :) GOODLUCK and enjoy your pregnancy!!!!

I had a smear done 6 wks after my first baby and the results showed abnormal cells. The doc said it wasn't anything to worry about coz it usually corrects itself. They usually give it 6 months to see if it will correct itself so you'll be due another smear then. However, 6 months after, when my second test was due I was 9wks pregnant with my second baby and couldn't get the test done. After my second baby was born I had another test and the results were the same so i have to go back in january for another test. So I don't know what they'll do if the second test shows the same results but the nurse reassured me that if there was anything to worry about they would act on it straight away. so to sum it up your overall test results were negative - please don't worry!!!! this is quite common. good luck with the baby

Well, I hate to say it, but it could be an STD that's causing your pap smear to be abnormal. I have HPV, and it causes my pap smear to come back abnormal. I hope it's not something major, but if the doctor says to come back in for a second one and to go over the results of the first one, you need to go get it done. Good luck. Edit: Usually, if you have an abnormal pap smear, it would be something that's affecting your cervix, because that's what they're taking tissue from to check for abnormalities. HPV is one of those diseases that affect your cervix, so that is something I would check for.

abnormal cells can often refer to dysplasia, which are pre-cancerous cells and is found pretty frequently in paps during pregnancy. if this is your case they will monitor you frequently during your pregnancy, the cells tend to grow rapidly during pregnancy and can in some cases advance to cancer cells. i'm not trying to scare the heck out of you but thought you should have a little info. i actually had a biopsy done while pregnant with my first child and everything was ok. if your abnormal cells are dysplasia this should not have an effect on the baby. i hope all goes well. good luck and may god bless you with a great pregnancy and healthy baby.

Don't worry, it has happened too me before and it does not mean that something is wrong with your baby. It could be anything.. I was told the same thing and when I went in it was just a yeast infection. I told the nurse why do they have too scare me like that.
When you are pregnant, you get alot more paranoid... Everything is going to be alright... Good Luck!!!!

dont freak out before you even know what's going on. you could have an infection or std, both very treatable. abnormal cells on your cervix is common and not life threatening to you or baby. just calm down and go to your appointment.
