I loaded up my new style 2 gig Nano with podcasts and new songs before work today and tried to play my Democracy Now podcast at my desk. The screen is stuck on the "Now Playing" screen and the backlight is on and nothing is playing and none of the buttons do anything.

I didn't bump it or anything.

I have only had it for a week now and am very ditressed. Has anyone else had this problem and if so how did you fix it?

The first answer worked except that I had to take it off hold and hold down the middle and menu button.

Thanks chenchristopher94 you saved my day and I will select yours as the best answer as soon as they let me.
