it's okay if u really dont' have an appetite for no reason. if there is an underlying cause like depression or fear of becoming obese ask ur doc about ur feelings. but it sounds like ur just not hungry so dont' worry about it, just try to make sure ur getting some kind of nutrition, try slim fast shakes because there nutritious and u can drink half a one even if ur not hungry

All the way through my pregnancy I only put on a little weight and I didn't have a really big appetite I just ate normal portions of food when I felt I was hungry my little boy was gorgeous and he has got no problems at all. Some women use pregnancy as an excuse for gorging themselves on food ( classic excuse eating for two) as long as you are getting all the vitamins you need there should be no problem.

it' s different for everyone some people put on a lot of weight while others put on a little bit. When i was pregnant the first 4 1/2 months i lost weight and i was 5'6 and a 123 pnds, by the time i was four months i had lost about 12 pnds those months, and then all of sudden by the end of my pregnancy i put on total weight of 46 pnds, and i had my baby 1 month early. I have always been little, it's alright you'll eventually start putting on pounds.

It's all completely normal. When I was pregnant sometimes I would think I was starving and when I started to eat, I could only eat a few bites before I was stuffed. Also, I didn't start to show much until I was close to 7 months pregnant. If it's your first pregnancy you don't show as soon as if it's your second or third.

If you think about how big your baby is now, there isn't much room for your stomach is there? Try and eat little and often. Plenty of fruit and veg and a 'little of what you fancy' now and then. I couldn't face big meals when I was pregnant with either of my two - I just ate when I needed it. You may find your appetite increases as you are due - build up your strenght then, as you'll need it! Good luck!

Hey Melissa, congrats, i'm just over 5 months, and i have only gained a kilo and a half. i am quiet small and petite. you can see that i am pregnant, but i am never hungry... the docotor says that everything is fine, you should eat when you feel hungry. as long as your baby is healthy there is nothing to worry about.
good luck!

It is very normal. Sorry to say that you may get HUGE around your 6th or 7th month! Allot of women don't show until their 6th month. And not having an appetite is normal also. I actually loose weight when I'm pregnant. (in the beginning of course)

yes of coarse your baby is only hungry if he/ she isn't getting all the nutrients it needs.. you must be eating well.... don't worry about it ... its a good thing

I have been told there is no such thing as eating for two .. only in your last trimester they encourage you to eat a bit more but that's maybe an extra jacket potato .. not loads of sugary and fatty food. just make sure you are drinking enough water..

you should eat...
dont think about fashion and being 101-106 5'6. thats not your healthy weight. Im 5'5 and my doctor told me that I should be 130. Even though im less, I do know that if im pregnant I should eat healthy. "eating for two" its true... but you dont want to weight 200. Eat healthy... but yes... EAT. do you want you baby to be born with problems? I dont know about you.. but i would want a healthy baby.
