These past few months, my best friend and i have gotten closer but I'm not sure if he wants me to be his girlfriend or if he only wants to be best friends. But I'm starting to have feelings for him.

Well, when it comes to this, you have to realize that if you start going out and if things do not work out, your friendship as you know it may never fully recover. There is always that risk. On the other hand, going out with a best friend is great because you already know so much about each other and already have a relationship of trust. Telling him will let you know if he has the same feelings or not but at the same time it may be awkward. Has he ever talked about girls he liked or likes currently? That could be a clue as to if he's interested or not. He could be pretending to see if you are interested. At one point, you may have to tkae the plunge and hope for the best. Leave some time to see if feelings really stay. Good luck.

well tell him even if he doesn't feel the same way. you might want to get it off your chest. maybe he might feel the same way too. you never know. plus if you don't tell him it might be to late for you. what i mean is? my friends always come to me and tell me they like this person. i would tell them the same thing. tell that him/her before its to late. before someone else take them.

Tell him your mind and watch his reaction. If his reaction is desirable, both of you are into greater fun. If he is hesitant, tell him he has passed your test of the day.
