First of all, rest assured, you will gain weight as you age.
Having said that, here is what I recommend:
1. Drink a glass of real fruit juice with every meal -- it is loaded with carbohydrates and calories -- and you won't get bloated as you would by stuffing yourself with extra food.
2. Snack on dried fruit -- pineapple chunks, etc. And if you have cereal in the morning, trying putting some raisins or dried cranberries on that. This also is loaded with carbs and calories.
3. Eat lots of pasta.
4. Eat lots of peanut butter or peanuts (but make sure you aren't allergic to these foods).
5. Get lots of good sleep.
Hope this helps. A human being generally eats much more protein that he or she actually needs (in the form of meat). Along witht he above diet, I also cut down on the amount of red meat I was consumming.

First of all, you need a high protien diet, not a high fat. Eating everything is not healthy because you take in a lot of fat, and it will eventually catch up with you if you stretch your stomic to much. Protien is a safe way to gain weight, like eat a lot of peanuts and peanut butter. Also take a multivitamine.
And yes, you need to work out. Go to a place where you can lift weights. You will build muscle and that looks a lot better than fat hanging all over. If you can go to a gym, I know you might feel self concious at first, but you have to look into whats best for you, and not what everyone else thinks. I am sure they won't think a thing about a skinny person working out. there are all kinds of different work outs you can do to target different places on your body, so that would be the best thing to do for yourself.

I would see a doctor...my friend was in a similar situation, very tall and pushing 100 pounds....so she went to see a doctor who gave her some weight gaining pills.
I wouldn't eat a bunch of food, b/c that would just clog your arteries and stuff....I would start working out and stuff, and since you are so tall you won't look all steroidal and muscular...just nice and toned.
Good luck!

eat right, protein for muscle, carbohydrates for energy, and minerals for resistance.have enough water too. Check for worms and expel them. Have 2 to 3 time massage a month and have mild workouts.I think the best protein source is soya milk, no cholesterol.

Try eating healthy food at regular intervals instead of eating a single large meal.
