People tend to act more like themself when they are around their friends. Especially 3 weeks in to dating while you are in the "impression" phase. Looks like you have an immature dude...toss him and find someone who is mature.

I know what you mean. I married my husband two years ago and he still does REALLY annoying and childish things that make me crazy... and they are seriously enough to make me wonder what the heck I was thinking! Mine does things like farting REALLY loud and not just at home, hiding snacks from the kids (mine from a previous marriage) and lots of other stupid things. I know I am not perfect either but I guess I've resigned myself to the fact that all men are gross and poorly mannered at least occasionally, and since my husband is loving and selfless and never treats anyone badly, its the lesser evil in some way. God knows I did much much worse in my first marriage as far as mate selection...
Good luck... but if it bothers you that much and he is beligerent about being a pig, dump him before your lives get too entangled and its a lot more painful to let it go. There ARE gentlemen out there.

Don't settle. You may really like him, a lot, but you're never going to want to take him out in public. Is that really what you want: a shut in boyfriend/husband?
He's prob so well behaved with you because he knows he has to be. Thats what dating is: showing off our best side to the one we're interested him. Just be happy that you know about the other side of him now before its too late. Now you have time to decide if thats what you're really ready to cope with.

so i don't understand - he doesn't eat when u re just 2 of u? or doesn't talk with u? or he seems to act and talk different then? i agree with him - u have to accept him as he is. i can't believe that he ia acting different when u re together or with other people. u re judging him when u re not alone. i guess if u want a guy who acts his age u should go and find one. it would mean forget that one
