She might be able to put certain things on the back burner. But I don't think that Condelezza Rice is the appropriate person to handle that situation. Bush needs to be the one front and center dealing with North Korea. I understand that's what Bush has certain staff member for. However, men respect other men and although it may be Condelezza's job, I think when it comes down to matters this serious, the 2 top people from each country should be the ones conversing on the situation.

No, Kim Jong Il is a fan of American movies. So I think the best person to negotiate our stance is Arnold Schwarzenegger. Since he is "The Terminator" and Kim is 5'2" I think it would go really well. Fear is respect. And one way or another, North Korea will do what the international community and Amercia wants!

Condi is the well chosen and well spoken voice for America, and I believe she will do her best. Surely there is no single person that can "handle" North Korea. It's going to take the entire international community working together to solve this one.

I think Condi is a very smart woman. But I don't think anyone is going to be able to amicably resolve the problem with N. Korea.
"Dr. Evil" (the N. Korean President)... doesn't care.
You know what though... Maybe if we promised Dr. Evil the best booze, hottest women, and fastest cars... he might stop testing nuclear weapons.

Nope Condi won't settle it.
North Korea can careless what the world thinks. Only a strong and powerful UN can solve the Korean issue.

Start with the fact that the US has nowhere to go but up in terms of foreign relations/foreign policy.
What this means is that, relatively speaking, whatever she does there will SEEM like a success compared to all recent past scenarios.
Sad that things have gotten to that reduced circumstance. But it's the truth.

No.
She will do the best that anyone could.
Bear in mind, the Democrats are ready to surrender.
And the Kim Jong knows that.
Everyone knows that.
Even our allies know that they can't trust the Democrats, or they will be left out on a limb.

No! She's been a complete and utter loser up til now, aiding and abetting that lying sack of shite, Bush, in his bid to claim oil rights in Iraq, so why should she suddenly become competent now with Kim Jong Il?? Remember, she was right there in the middle when all the WMD bullsh it was flying thick, and she still stinks of it now!!

I don't know. Honestly, like her or not, I think she should be cut some slack, or given some understanding. It's quite clear that North Korea's leader is incredibly full of himself. Osama might be more able to be reasoned with.
