After you've washed it?
Do you wash it at all?
Even when you get the 'pre-washed' stuff?

Or do you live it dripping onto your plate?

I tend to graze rather than go through all the hassle of getting a salad together.

Well I use both, depending on whats on sale that week at the grocery store. I like the pre washed lettuce because it's easy to use and no fuss. However, I like the Iceberg lettuce. I was it and use a salad spinner...you can buy this for 3-4 bucks and its awesome. It dries your lettuce in 10 seconds. I wouldn't use we lettuce it doesn't taste good and causes the lettuce to wilt.

I always wash my lettuce, even if it is "pre-washed". Then I put it in a salad spinner to get the excess water off.

I suppose i shake my lettuce from time to time.
It's not a real hobby of mine.
Sometimes i'm lazy and don't wash the lettuce at all.
I don't like buying pre-washed stuff. There's no real guarantee and it's just chopped up lettuce.
I prefer preparing everything from scratch.
That's just the way it is.

Sure, I first wash it well and then I centrifuge it (with these hand centrifuges). I do it because I feel too much water in the salad takes much of the taste away otherwise.

I never buy pre-washed though, it comes straight from my own garden.

I do the same as peaches. I always wash it, I shake it and drain the excess water in a paper towel. I'm supposed to have bought that round thing that you can use to drain your lettuce, like years ago but... like sooo many things in my kitchen, I decided I could live without.

i am a salad lover but i never prepare any salad for myself. it's always on the plate in front of me, so there's no reason to shake it before eating it.
