bending over backwards for the sake of peace will cause our defeat,If we have to take to the sword to defend ourselves, as we do now, we should, and if we should, we need the likes of bush, but we dont need blair, he is betraying us to Europe and having us defeated by peaceful means.

the ethnic minorities are fighting a war from the inside of our infrastructure. they are doing this legally and are being allowed to do so by Blair.
you see my children Blair needs the vote of the minorities and does not care who lives in this land as long as the land continues to profit. ie if all the people who lived in the UK were the former ethnics then he wouldn't care. it still exists. i say former because the white Celtic or should isay indiginous person is becoming the moniority.
we live in small families and spread out. the ethnic person lives in a large family together , like a tribe. they grow together whether they can afford to or not. its a defence. its not our culture and we can not intergrate.

look what happened a few short years ago in the once multi cultural diverse and beautiful land of yugoslavia. the muslims and christians orthodox etc lived in the same comunities....then wham bamm, a war seen by the world, a warning of what happens when you intergrate cultures that do not mix.

the lesson has not been learned.

To realise peace we need intelligence and not the old mind of war.
Your question is full of assumptions and misleading.

You seem to be concerned about security.
The taking to the sword attitude and mind set is the cause of insecurity and lack of real peace.
How many more wars do we need to see this?
You say we need leaders who are insane to guide us?

We are being defeated by a mind that is corrupt and divisive.
The world we have made reflects this.
Its time for real peace and understanding.
This and not the sword is the only real solution.

My answer is not a reaction, due to my respect for other readers and not so much for your badly thought out question!

There is a huge flaw in your argument. With the technological advances made in weaponry, war will also defeat us, and everybody else. While you can insist that responsible governments will not use nuclear weapons, there are plainly other countries who will, if they feel their survival is at stake. Get a few nukes exploding around the globe, and see how long it takes for the earth's reaction to kill everything living on it.

Diplomatic processes, no matter how painful or protracted, at least give humankind time to try and evolve past their own stupidity.

Don't get me wrong; I think those who, like you, advocate war as necessity will ulitmately prevail. I don't see any real indication that we collectively can learn fast enough to avoid escalating our differences into conflicts that will poison our planet. Fear and hatred, as always, is all that is required to destroy good things.

Bush destroyed Blairs political career because Blair was being the good allie and following Bush into Iraq.

You are obviously far too young. The British are never united on any issue. In our entire history, we have only ever been united once and that was when Winston Churchill went on the radio and told us about the impending start of the Battle of Britain. Every man and woman in the land rolled up their sleeves and got stuck in. My mother worked 12 hour shifts in an ammo factory turning out death dealing shells to kill the Nazis with and my dad drove around wildly in his army truck delivering whatever!!

In our democracy there are those, who like Winston, believe that Jaw Jaw is better than War War and there are the usual flocks of vultures and eagles who want to kill everything in case it might be edible.

You can never truly know unless you have walked a mile in my shoes......

Go to the places of your perceived threats you speak of and meet the people there. Hear their side of it... You will change your mind......
Try to watch any of the movie's called "Iraq for sale" or "Iraq's Missing Billions"
If you can't go to Afghanistan or Iraq or Iran go talk to returning soldier's or the Mum & Dad of one who came home in a box. Its all about the money!

To sum it up: Yes there are threats out there.
Much more hatred has been nurtured by the USA and GB in the previous military interventions.
Billions of dollars and pounds are being made by civilian companies who have ties to both countries leaders (Bush & Blair) and their cabinets. That money is coming from the peoples of the USA & GB. (your pockets)
Money set aside for rebuilding hospitals, food, sanitation and basic needs etc has disappeared and poeple are dying as a result.
Torture in the detainee camps was carried out by CICA employee's. (civilian mercinaries) and people died...
Companies in GB have seen over 600% increase in profit since the war started.
Civilian lorry drivers go "unprotected" through the streets of Iraq. Many die.
The USA didn't know what to do with their depleted uranium. They made it into bullets 50 caliber and higher with lead casings to protect the soldiers until firing. They used it in Iraq spreading radiation all over the place.
Some of the companies who have profited are KBR, Blackwater, CICA, Haliburton and many other's.

During WW2 the German's used companies for war. Here are a few examples:
The Serin Gas used to kill millions was made by Dupont Chemical Company-USA
The "punch card" system used to track the war camp prisoners was made and maintained by IBM -USA
The list goes on....
So much we really don't know about the real story....

I don't think Western civilization can be defeated from the outside, only from within.

So I'd say yes - we're in danger of defeating ourselves.
