Yes, I would be surprised that things haven't changed all that much. I agree with bullybrian, as a kid I thought the year 2000 would be full of flying cars and we'd be living in underwater apartments. I also imagined home appliances like stoves and vaccums to be more robotic and having a mind of their own. But i never would of imagined the internet being as important as it is. If someone had told me back then about it, i wouldn't of thought it wasn't a big deal.

Absolutely. Who could have predicted the technological changes that have brought all cultures on the planet into our homes. On the downside, who would have thought the value of life would be brought so low by the possibility that a greedy little despot could destroy the planet?

Well I was born in 1971, we all kind of saw the internet coming, and cellphones too, but we all figured by the year 2000 we would have flying cars.

Very much so,some is great ,others rather disappointing,but then again as a kid everything always seems so much bigger & better..
