My daughter had hers done and I watched so to answer your questions.
No you are not knocked out you are wide awake.
It would hurts real bad without anesthetic cream put on the area to numb it so do not try it without ok.
It should not bleed my daughters did not.
It takes about 6 to 12 weeks to heal depending on your healing process in your own body.

Now if you are going to have it done PLEASE go to a proper piercing qualified person. Make sure the shop is VERY clean and they use CLEAN OUT O THE PACKET neddles. That you clean the area regular and not just ignore it.
I am not trying to frighten you but please really make sure you go to a proper place I have seen some very bad infections in hospital where i used to work and belly button scared for life.

No they do not knock you out.
It is apparently actually illegal for them to use Anastasia - and if they offer to numb it for you - run, as this is not the accepted method!
It may bleed - although mine didn't. I didn't feel a thing - other than the guys hand on my stomach - I actually asked when he was going to do it and he had finished. It was fab!
It depends how long you normally take heal with a cut etc?
It is best to have a 'ring' type for your piercing and for a while after it heals - a 't' bar rubs more on your clothes and it is easier to pull on things, which makes the healing take longer! and adds to getting an infection.
I have had mine for over 6 years and never had any real trouble with it and I am diabetic and take a long time to heal - if you leave it a lone and don't fiddle with it - don't use creams etc - just wash with salt water every day for the first week. And then leave it as much as possible until it has healed completely - just bath/shower as normal and dry as normal - you should be fine - but make sure that you go to a reputable salon/piercer - that is the most important starting point!
Happy piercing! Mia x

Of course it will hurt!! Only certain people would faint because of it,it depends on your pain threshold, and I think some people might over exaggerate what the pain is like,so that could also be a cause of fainting. It will hurt for a while after, and with some people if they sit down after getting it done it can really hurt, but the pain should go within a few hours. It doesn't bleed. It takes a few months to heal.

They rub some 'anaesthetic' cream on the area which doesn't do much, and then they force a sharp spike through it(after drawing where they're gonna pierce). Does it hurt? Of course!!!!! Then, you have to turn every few hours so it doesn't stick, this hurts a bit and feels horrible. I used surgical spirit on mine for about 3 months;when I stopped,it immediately got infected and took another 3 months to clear up. This is because clothes rub against it,so it takes longer to heal-maybe have it done in the summer... Having said that,I'm very glad I had it done-I like the look,as do most blokes.

They don't put you out for a piercing.

I don't know if it hurts really bad, I have never had one done.

No idea if it bleeds

Not sure on the healing process

What I do know is that a friend of mine had her belly button pierced and she walked around with her pants undone with a long shirt over it. She was constantly cleaning it because their was this gross looking crusty stuff on it.

As far as walking around with your pants undone, you won't have to do this if you have low cut jeans that doesn't touch the pierceing. She said it hurt to have the pants rubbing up against it.

I asked her why even bother with a pierceing if you have to go through so much trouble. She replied, because it is cute. She thought it was worth it. I don't think it is, but then again I don't like to deal with pain if I can avoid it.

If you do this just make sure you keep it clean so it doesn't get infected.

Good luck

I had mine done 5 years ago now. It didn't really hurt when it was done or after. Have it done a reputable tattooist or piercer with a local council certificate of hygiene though. Backstreet tattooists maybe cheaper but they also may not be clean.

You won't be knocked out. They spray a cold solution on the area to numb it.

Mine took about 3 weeks to heal, my sisters took about a year but it didn't cause her any problems it just wept now and then. Keep cleaning it with salt water and it will be fine.

Yes it is sore. Or at least mine was. It's a good idea to wear loose jeans or hip huggers for the procedure.
No they dont knock you out. They use a clamp to numb the area.
It's not that complicated so you dont require anestisia.
Mine did not bleed.
Mine took almost 2 months, but that was because it got infected and I refused to take it out. (yeah stupid of me I know but there was no way I was letting it heal and then re-piercing through scar tissue.)
Oh yeah and they tend to get infected a bit more easily than other piercings. You wanna make sure to keep it very clean.

They don't knock you out, it's only a little pinch, it bleeds, but only a tiny tiny bit. The time it takes to heal depends on the aftercare of it. It will heal very fast if you rinse it with a warm water and salt solution.

I had mine done at a really good tattoo parlour. they put a numbing spray on you and even though you feel it, it is not painful. It does however become painful once the spray has worn off. you have to take really good care of it otherwise it will definitely become infected. i was told to use saline solution (the same as they use for contact lens) to clean as this has no chemicals in it (if you can use it on your eyes then it must be OK). you can also kiss goodbye to wearing restricting trousers (jeans and the like) for a while because if you catch them on your new piercing it hurts to buggery!!!
