Im on the pill and have had my period, but my stomach has become larger and the shapes rather worring, my breasts have also grown and become tender, but im not sure if this is a side effect of starting on the pill. what do you think?

Its probably the pill ( hormones) but check with your Dr. to be sure.

Most likely side effects of the pill, but get a test to be sure, cuz if you are, continuing to take the pill can cause harm to the baby or miscarriage.

These symptoms can also be caused by eating too much and the onset of your period. It is possible however that you are pregnant. The pill is not 100% effective, the only contraceptive that is, is not having sex. So take a test just to be sure.

Ive never been on the pill but I was on the shot and they say there all the same. These products tend to make you gain weight for some reason because of the hormones. I currently stoped because of that reason but dont be worried your not pregnant unless you skiped pills but if your taking it like your sopose to then your ok its just the side affects.

yes. they are side effects from the pill. i am taking a parenting class this semester and we just learned about birth control. there is no way you could be pregnant and be on the pill at the same time.

So ... did you have unprotected sex with someone recently? If not, you can't be pregnant and it must be the side effects - you did mention you'd just started.
If you have had unprotected sex, there's every chance you're pregnant because
a) it's not 100% effective
b) it takes time to become effective
c) it only takes one naughty little sperm ...
Get tested and then you'll know better!

It sounds like you probably are. The only way you can kno for sure is getting a home pregnancy, take it in the morning with your first pee, thats the only way to check it for sure and if that says negative take another one a couple weeks down the road and if that ones negative then you know your not pregnany.

why does every girl think they are pregnant by one thing changing, oh i aint came on for one day - i must be pregnant - my breats hurt - must be pregnant - my ear hurts - must be pregnant!!!

yes if you have started the pill its most likely to be your hormones and everything in your body changing COZ YOU ARE TAKING THE PILL!!!

i was on the pil for ten years. i had what you have described you wiil feel bloated and your breast will get bigger and tender , you may start to feel sick and get a few headaches . as long as you stick to the routine of your pill you wont get pregnant.

first off the obvious question is, have you had sex with anyone recently? U dont need to answer here of course, its private i know, but ask urself that.
also i learned something about the pill, but my memory ain't that great, so check this out ... hope it helps
