When I was a teenager I was a late bloomer socially and I tried to ask people for help in dating girls. People in my family said I should forget about dating girls and just get a prostitute. Strangers told me I just needed confidence. What does this say about my family?

Your family needs to learn how to communicate better, and use better words. A family is supposed to love and support you, no matter what. We should be able to go to them at any time, with any manner of questions. And they are to listen, even if they don't agree with you. Many parents or children were not taught the right way to be a parent or child. I'm am sorry they said that to you. As a parent I will say this - we all grow at different paces. No one is the same, if we were it would be boring. Just take time to like your self, before you go out there and find a girl. Don't make your expectations to high and unrealistic, set goals for your self. And in time, maybe with out you knowing it is happening, a great girl will like you for you.

Maybe they were just being sarcastic. But then again, you'll come around. Make a list of people u may be interested in, and see which one you like the most. Ask that person out, and if she rejects you, then move on! Usually, thats the best method there is, and I've tried it with guys and Ive been with my boyfriend for two whole years! If you cant date a girl, just wait. There is bound to be a girl out there who likes you, but is too shy. DOnt worry about what your family said. Its your personal life, and YOU havecontrol over it...GOOD LUCK

Yours is not a moral family, nor is it a Christian family. I would certainly consider whether they really have my best interest at heart given the dangers (even deadly) of their suggestion. highly sensible and intelligent reply . and think of the money youll save getting a prostitute compared to tdating and with a guaranteed result every time. also all different girls. your family are right go for it
