I have a 2000 gilera runnr 125 2 stroke and it keeps flooding, i have changed the carb for a brand new one hade it serviced, cleaned the jets and air filters.

Quirky one this.Just applies to Gilera/Piaggio automatics.
It's the vacuum controlled automatic fuel tap on the small transfer petrol tank that's under the panel between your legs.It's stuck open and needs to be replaced.

If it floods while the engine is off, and you find it flooded on your first try to start it, you may have your float valve not seating correctly--maybe damage to the needle or debris where it's supposed to seat. Also, it's possible that oil is weeping past your piston rings, and fouling up the cylinder, in which case a more involved procedure may be necessary. Of course, if it floods while starting, or while driving, you may have your mixture set way way off.

simply that your float is set too high in the float chamber. 2 strokes are notorious for flooding anyway, so the fuel tap should be closed when not in use.

has to b the carb. a float controls fuel flow.
